As the sun sets on Camp Manoatoa, we bid farewell to the memories created during our exhilarating first week of Campapalooza. With sixty campers, over twenty hosts, nine quests, and countless campfires, we have shared laughter, adventures, and forged lasting friendships. However, it's time to embark on a new chapter as we prepare to explore uncharted territory in our next campsite. Excitement fills the air as we anticipate the unveiling of the Week 2 campground's name and location during the Sunday night Hike to Camp with KatesHappy.
A Surprise Awaits:
Leaving behind the familiar comforts of Camp Manoatoa, campers eagerly await the surprise announcement of the new campsite. The element of anticipation adds to the thrill of the journey, as we can only speculate on the adventures that await us. Campers ponder what the new environment will look like – some guess that it will be snow, others beach. Those unable to join the hike can look forward to teleporting directly to the new location using a link left at the Campapalooza Central site, ensuring that no camper is left behind.
Building New Memories:
Upon reaching the new campsite, campers are encouraged to bring their creativity to the forefront and build an all-new environment from scratch. With a blank canvas before us, the possibilities are endless. Constructing new structures, organizing unique events, and immersing ourselves in unexplored surroundings will breathe life into Week 2 of Campapalooza.
In Pursuit of Bigfoot:
Among the many exciting activities available at the new campground, the legendary quest to find Bigfoot stands out. Armed with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure, campers can chase the mythical creature through the uncharted wilderness. Those who capture (a picture) of this elusive legend and email it in for a chance to win the bigfoot souvenir for week 2: The Poopholer, which is a shovel and camping necessity. If you do not win after an exhilarating pursuit and capture, having your name on the list means you ‘earn the badge’ of Bigfoot Capturer and become eligible to purchase the item if you do not win.
Rewards Await:
To further ignite the spirit of camping and reward the dedication of our campers, a drawing will be held at the end of the two-hour hike event. Those who have their PAZ placed out will be eligible to win Week 2 souvenir: CAMPAPALOOZA LIL’ ROWBOAT. Five lucky campers will be selected at random, adding an extra layer of excitement to the already bustling camp atmosphere.
Keepin it Real:
Week 2 brings its own distinctive souvenir, capturing the essence of the new campsite and the adventures experienced within its bounds. Introducing the Keeping it Reel fishing pole and tackle box set just for event host. This special gift is to commemorate the new environment and show appreciation for the camp hosts' enthusiastic participation.
