Camp-A-Palooza: 21 Days of Community

Howdy, Adventurous Souls! As we bid adieu to Camp-A-Palooza 2023, we can't help but feel gratitude for all the magic you've brought to this three-week extravaganza. (Psst. Don't forget to grab your bigfoot memorabilia and read the bigfoot blog HERE).

Creativity Soars at Camp Cauldron

We finished the three-location tour and unforgettable journey at the volcanic wonderland of Camp Cauldron, where the spirit of adventure soared higher than ever! Nested against the fiery rim of a volcanic wonder, Camp Cauldron became a playground of creativity and survival skills that left us in awe. Campers took on the challenge like true champions, building on sky decks that reached for the stars, floating islands that defied gravity, and even crafting space stations that seemed straight out of sci-fi dreams. The rocky terrain was transformed into a masterpiece, with beautiful tall grasses and enigmatic stone structures surrounding the classic camps as the rim at NeNe's Peak became crowded with tents, decks, rocks, and campfires!

Celebrating Theme Hosts

Throughout this adventure hosts showed what it means to be a part of the Thereian Community. Over 60 host gifts were bestowed upon theme event hosts. Most of those are the dedicated hosts who make this community shine week after week. The rest were community members who stepped in with one-of-a-kind events and quests, adding that extra spark to the theme. All of the events - cards, vehicle, dog, quests, spiritual, social, storytelling, paintball and more, were supportive of camping and the best virtual world community, which includes YOU.

A Farewell to Camp-A-Palooza 2023: Adventure Travels

The sun has set on the final week and campers have rolled up their sleeping bags and hiked back home. Camp Manoatoa, Camp Cold Water, and Camp Cauldron - the 2023 Camp-A-Palooza theme locations - will forever hold a special place in our hearts. With around 30 quests, close to 80 unique campers, and a community of adventurers who supported each other, we've created something truly extraordinary.
