CCR 2025: Racing into our new Pole Position Race Series!

CCR 2025 is off to a flying start, and January has zoomed by in a blur of high-octane action! This year, we're taking things up a gear with driver rankings, exclusive pit stop perks, and the introduction of the Gear Garage—your go-to shop for must-have racing swag. More details on that soon!

Kicking Off at Club Fair

The season got rolling at Club Fair, hosted at the There Fairgrounds, with back-to-back races on the iconic Aurora highway and mountain peaks. Club Fair attendees were the first to hit the accelerator on our new leveling system, racking up ranks and prizes right from the starting line.

Full Speed Ahead to Bananaphone

Next, we shifted gears and headed back home to Bananaphone for a classic Friday Night Race. The course twisted and turned through Ootay Island, sending racers over hills, down winding paths, and past fan-favorite checkpoints like Tiki Dog and the Boardwalk.

Lunar New Year on Tyr

Then, it was time to celebrate the Lunar New Year in style! Racers sped through a dark course lit by decorated trees in honor of the Year of the Snake. The illuminated checkpoints on Tyr made for an unforgettable night of fast-paced fun.

January Grand Prize Winners

Crossing the finish line in first place for January were our grand prize winners: JessieJames1, lostinthewoods, IAAW, and MR_Greenlight! But the podium wasn't the only place to win—plenty of bonus prizes were claimed along the way. The grand prize choices feature the CCR ZMW Bananaracer - in a 2 and 4 seater version!

Brain Tease Challenge Champions

Friday Night Racing also featured a special Brain Tease Challenge, an optional extra pit stop for those looking to flex their mental horsepower. Our top five —LadyMisty, Francis_7, KatesHappy, jamt, and AsifChris—each raced away with 5K in winnings. Here’s a peek at their creative (and hilarious) answers:

🏎 SUPERPOWER - LadyMisty: "I can create a lightning strike! Unfortunately, it only happens when I sneeze. Just visualize me, with a pepper shaker, yelling 'Sneeze, dang it!' so I can zap the bad guy or the pink troll. SMH! This also is why I am called 'The Erratic Lightning Lady.' Sigh."

🏎 INVENT SOMETHING - KatesHappy: "So, falling asleep holding a cigarette could be a disaster. So I present... the cigarette ring! A ring worn on the finger of your choice with a springy hook that holds your cigarette securely—even if you doze off or have one too many drinks."

🏎 INVENT SOMETHING - Francis_7: "I would invent an element called Hymel Drexel Fomalate 12!"

🏎 TAKE SOMETHING WE HAVE NOW AND MAKE SOMETHING NEW - AsifChris: "What if Little Red Riding Hood were a delivery driver in a big city? Or Cinderella found her prince on a dating app instead of at a ball? Imagine Superman delivering Amazon packages... LOL."

🏎 ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED - jamt: (Good luck deciphering this one!) "Essence of troll or troll of essence, no more dry eye, and it wafts on the wind and makes a person trolly when the sun comes out! Hydrogen or helium? No heavy metal, just volcano tubes flowing at different hours. Nomads living on the edge, Watson to a Sherlock case! And Cindy’s bustle blew up—Red Riding Hood delivers a new butt pack! Oh, and she has to swipe right. LOL! Hold your breath and fart—super fly!"

On the Horizon: Super Bowl Showdown!

What race adventures lie ahead? This week’s event is our Super Bowl Race, featuring an all-new clue item: the Mini Goal Post! With Super Bowl LIX kicking off on Sunday, we’re getting our motors running and revving our engines. The race flags drop on Friday, and if you cross the finish line by Friday night at midnight ET, you’ll be eligible to be our next grand prize winner!
