CCR's Runestone Run: A Moonlit Adventure on Tyr

On May 17th, the Cross Country Racers (CCR) community embarked on an exhilarating journey through the dark, moonlit terrain of Tyr in the thrilling Runestone Run event. With the full moon casting its eerie glow over the labyrinthine canyons and dark ridges, racers navigated through a landscape that is always both mysterious and breathtaking.
The course led racers out of the canyons, across the tops of dark ridges, and through iconic locations, including event zones, the Templar, Crystal Garden, and the Boneyard where ancient giant creatures' bones lay scattered. Every twist and turn of the race was in search of CCR Runestones which were scattered across all of Tyr island.
Out of the 26 daring participants, it was Ksean who emerged victorious, winning the grand prize by random dice roll. Ksean now faces the exciting decision of choosing between the 2024 CCR ZMW Buggy and the CCR Victory Buggy. Both options promise to elevate his racing experience to new heights.
The bonus round added an extra layer of excitement, offering the usual bonus of 5K and a custom runestone to the lucky winner. Congratulations to lostinthewoods, who now has the unique opportunity to design a custom runestone. The anticipation is high as we wait to see what this special stone will look like.
