CCR: PRIDE RAINBOW RUN! 🌈

The CCR Pride Rainbow Run was a dazzling success, with a full spectrum of participants chasing rainbows and celebrating Pride Month in style! This 24-hour event brought together our vibrant community to support equal rights and show solidarity with our LGBTQ+ friends.

A Scenic Journey

The race course took runners through the breathtaking landscapes of Comet, including a few picturesque offshore islands. The route culminated in a stunning view of the sea from the island cliffs, offering a perfect blend of challenge and beauty. It was an unforgettable experience, where every step was a celebration of pride and progress.

The Grand Finale

As the clock struck midnight, everyone gathered back at Bananaphone, the heart of CCR, for the grand prize drawing. Bananaphone was decked out in a delightful mix of checkered and rainbow flags, setting the perfect festive tone for the night.

And now, for the moment everyone had been waiting for... DRUM ROLL, PLEASE! The winner of the drawing was none other than UrChristianBrat. In a delightful twist, instead of choosing from the three CCR Prize vehicles, Brat requested a donut! Ever the character, Brat left with a few from the Hoverfloat collection of pool floatie hoverboats, heading out to place them on a picnic table. It was a whimsical and fitting end to race, but...

That scenario left us with a CCR vehicle that we wanted to rehome, so the usual 5K Bonus Drawing got an extra added surprise with the choice of the 2024 CCR ZMW, the CCR Victory Buggy, and the new CCR ZMW Hoverbuggy! In a surprise twist, the randomizer went off to reveal that dave008 was the winner, and he chose the Hoverbuggy. We also gave away the 5K, with congrats to lostinthewoods who won some cash for his new tbuck flushing toilet!
