CCR: Donut Day Dash! Celebrating National Donut Day

Hey there, CCR enthusiasts!

Friday was National Donut Day! And what better way to celebrate than with our very own CCR Donut Day Dash! This week's race offered delicious prizes on top of our usual ones. Here’s a roundup of all the fantastic happenings from this year’s celebration.

The Grand Prize Drawing

Our Grand Prize Drawing was offering participants the chance to win one of our great vehicle prizes. The 2024 CCR ZMW Buggy was up for grabs, but we sweetened the deal even further. For those who’ve competed in 10 races, there was an option to choose the CCR Victory Buggy. And for the truly dedicated racers with 15 races under their belts, the CCR ZMW Hover Buggy was an additional choice.

The Special Kilroy Bonus Drawing

We couldn’t let the fun stop with just one drawing. Our Special Kilroy Bonus Drawing allowed participants to win one of our unique donut hoverboats! The best part? No need to be present to win. To enter, participants simply checked the front page of auctions to view the six flavors of donut hoverboats and added their favorite flavor to the Kilroy - of course they did have to complete the CCR and some chose to take a donut on the trip. And the winner of this tasty treat was... paddo! Congratulations, paddo! Paddo chose the super sprinkle covered purple frosted donut. Here’s the lineup of entrants:

The Bonus Drawing

To wrap up the day, we had one final bonus drawing that required the lucky winner to be present. Up for grabs was a 5k (aka the dough) or a Donut Hoverboat of their choice. The anticipation was electric as everyone gathered for the final moment.

And the winner, present and excited, was... Francis! Congrats, Francis! Your presence and patience paid off in the sweetest way. Francis chose the chocolate covered treat!

The Donut Clues Hunt

The Donut Day Dash used delicious donut clues to mark locations of invisible clues. Racers followed a trail of donuts across New Kansas, spanning from the shore to DX9 Village. Participants scoured the area for sprinkles and frosting. The twenty-four hour race had twenty-nine finishers who all needed a snack.
